Legend No. 17 is a 2013 Russian biographical sports film based on the rise to fame of Soviet hockey player Valeri Kharlamov and the first match of the Summit Series USSR-Canada 1972. The film is directed by Nikolai Lebedev and produced by Trite Studio. It received six Golden Eagle awards, including the best Russian film of the year. The filmmakers also received the State Prize of the Russian Federation for the year 2013. The story begins in 1956 with Kharlamov's childhood in Spain and then moves to Moscow in 1967.
